Defining flat file target groups

To use a flat file target, you must create a flat file target group and assign that flat file target to a flat file target group.
Note: You can only modify existing custom flat file target groups.
  1. Select Administration Tools > Enterprise Collaborator Configuration > Detection Management to display the Flat Target Groups panel.
  2. Click the Target Groups tab.
  3. Click the Type icon and select FlatDetector.
  4. In the Flat Target Groups panel, click +.
  5. Specify a target group name and description.
  6. Click Save.
    The list of available flat file targets is displayed in the Assign Targets to Group panel.
  7. To assign flat file targets to the flat file target group, select the check box under the Assigned column for each flat file target, and then click the Save icon.
  8. To delete the flat file target group, select the flat file target group and then click the Delete icon. Click Yes when prompted.
  9. To enable the flat file target group, click Activate. Click Yes when prompted.
    The Flat detection root folder and its subfolders are displayed in the Detection Order tab.
