Using the Documents UI and features

This table shows the basic features that you can perform to the documents:

Button	Function
Refresh	Use this function to refresh the documents list shown in the page.
Add	Use this function to add or create a new document.
Edit	Use this function to modify a selected document. Select the check box of the document and click the edit icon.
Delete	Use this function to delete the selected document. Select the check box of the document and click the delete icon.

The documents page shows the full list of documents in a table format. This table shows the description of each field in the documents page:

Column	Function
Select (-)	Use this column to select the specific document. Select the check box to select the document.
Document	Shows the name of the document. You can search for a document by specifying the text in the search field.
Description	Shows a brief description of the document. You can search for a document by specifying the text in the search field.
Type	Shows the type or category of the document. You can search for a document by specifying the text in the search field.
Receive	If the Receive check box is selected, then the documents are received in IEC from ION.
Send	If the Send check box is selected, then the documents are sent from IEC to ION.

Each document has a receive and send check boxes. If the receive check box is selected for a document, then you can send the document from ION to IEC through the IMSIn channel. If the send check box is selected, then you can send a document from IEC to ION. You can select the receive and send check boxes at the same time.
