Copying mappings

You can copy a mapping from another or the same mapping project. The progress and result of this action are logged on the Mapping Console tab.

Note: The new mapping name must be a valid Java class name.
  1. On the Mapping Explorer tab, right-click a mapping to copy. Select Copy to display the Copy Mapping window.
  2. Click Browse to select a Mapping Project for this copy.
  3. Specify a new name for this copy, or accept the default name prefixed with "CopyOf <name>".
  4. Click Finish. When copying a standard mapping, the new mapping is automatically a custom mapping.
