Infor Enterprise Collaborator administration tasks

Infor Enterprise Collaborator (IEC) is a part of the M3 software that you can use when working with electronic documents in formats such as XML and flat files.

With M3, you can send and receive various documents such as invoices, orders, picking lists, and bank payments.

Enterprise Collaborator is the tool within M3 that enables you to create, send, and receive these documents electronically. This tool is used for message-based collaboration between functions in the M3 ERP system and other Infor or non-Infor applications to enable business process collaboration within and across enterprises.

The Infor Enterprise Collaborator server is the engine that is used to process messages at runtime. If a message fails, you can access the Enterprise Collaborator Administration page to investigate the problem, check received files, and examine logs and routing configurations.

Administrators monitor the Enterprise Collaborator server and perform administrative tasks on the Enterprise Collaborator Administration pages to address all business challenges. They are responsible for the stability of the server system, troubleshooting system problems, and providing user access to the server.

To access Enterprise Collaborator Administration, select Administration Tools > Enterprise Collaborator Administration from the Infor M3 Menu in Infor OS Portal or Infor Ming.le.
