Site Configuration Configuration

Site configuration includes global properties for M3 Portals.

These properties are not connected to an organization (company or division) but are configured on a tenant level.

Menu Role Configuration

Menu Roles are used for access control and define the connection between menu and users. The individual order of menu roles is not preserved.

Content Connector Configuration

Content Connectors define the source of external files, such as images and documents. Only new Content Connector definitions are added when you deploy a package. Existing connector definitions are not updated during deployment, even when they are part of the created package.

User Configurations define the role and property relations for M3 Portals users. Only new relations are included, existing relations remain unchanged.

Portlet Configurations define the visual presentation and behavior of portlets. Only new configurations are included, existing configurations remain unchanged.

To check the configuration integrity after deployment, use Analyze portlet configurations in the M3 Portals admin menu.

Menu Configuration Configuration

Menu Configuration defines the menu structure, visibility, layout and navigation. Menu nodes already existing with the same name on the target are not deployed, except for folders. The folder structure is merged.
