BOD Processor

Outbound BODs are enabled by company and division in the BOD Processor Administration tool. A BOD can either be delivered as a standard, or be created by the customer. This configuration is only used for standard BODs that are not enabled for Master Accounting Entity (Master AE).

General settings for companies and divisions managed in the M3 data tab are not supported. Before importing a local package, ensure that the company and division of the selected organization are enabled for the target tenant.

Resource Category Description
BODs Configuration

Enable or disable an outbound BOD for the selected organization (company and division).

This configuration is used for both standard BODs that are not enabled for Master Accounting Entity, and for custom BODs.

Master Accounting Entity for the noun for this standard BOD is disabled for the target tenant. If it is enabled in the target tenant, and a BOD having this noun is enabled for a company, the import fails. This is to prevent accidental changes to Master Accounting Entity settings, as this would affect integrations.

A custom BOD must either already exist for the target tenant, or it must be included as content in the same local package.

BODs using Master AE Configuration

Enable or disable an outbound BOD for the selected organization (company). The organization’s division is not used for this configuration.

This configuration is only used for standard BODs enabled for Master Accounting Entity (Master AE).

Master Accounting Entity for the noun for this standard BOD is enabled for the target tenant. If it is disabled in the target tenant, and a BOD having this noun is enabled for a company and division, the import fails. This is to prevent accidental changes to Master Accounting Entity settings, as this would affect integrations.

.
Custom BODs Content

This resource defines the name of a custom BOD.

Custom BOD content (the name) is not connected to an organization (company or division) but is configured on a tenant level.

A new custom BOD in the target tenant is disabled after import by default. An existing custom BOD in the target tenant maintains its current enabled-or-disabled states by default. Use BOD configuration resource in the same local package to set the enabled-or-disabled state for the custom BOD for this organization (company and division).
