Generating sample data

Use this procedure to generate sample data in XML, XSD, and flat format. These sample data are based on the message description that you have created.

  1. Open an existing flat file definition.
  2. In the Flat File Definition Editor, here are the available options:

    • Select Sample Flat File + XML tab to view the generated sample Flat File data in the Flat File view.

    • Select Sample Flat File + XML tab to view the generated sample XML data in the XML view.

    • Select XML Schema tab to view the generated schema data.
