Platform - Input/Output connectors

In both the Base and the Form projects, several input and output connectors are delivered. Some of the connectors must be configured in order to work, depending on the requirements. Configuration is done on the platform.

These input connectors are delivered:

  • TCP/IP input

This standard server address is the location where the application is running. You can modify Input ports as required.

Physical layer Base project Forms project
    DEV 20150 20160
    TEST 20151 20161
    PROD 20152 20162
  • Directory scan

In most cases, the input directory location should be modified.

Physical layer Base project Forms project
    DEV .\inputDEV .\inputDEV
    TEST .\inputTEST .\inputTEST
    PROD .\inputPROD .\inputPROD
The same output connectors are used in both the Base project and the Forms project. These are the output connectors delivered:
  • MAIL_PDF output

For this connector, the TCPIP profile GenericMail is used for mail server settings. The profile must be modified with host and port for your mail server. Profile is located in the Global resource set, under the Profiles folder.

The connector must also be modified with domain name.

  • MAIL_HTML output

This connector has the same configuration as MAIL output.

  • ATTACHMENT_PDF

No configuration required. This is used by MAIL output.

  • FILE_PDF output

This connector does not need to be configured unless used for special functionality.

  • PCL output

You are not required to configure this connector unless it is used for special functionality. You must update the printer information in M3 in the Printer. Open program (CRS290). Add the printer address in the server address field.

  • MATRIX output

You are not required to configure this connector similar to PCL, but you must update the printer information in M3. In Printer. Open program in (CRS290), add MATRIX in the modification field.

  • IDM output

This connector requires a path to an API Gateway key. This key can only be generated by a system administrator for a generic user. The key must be placed on the same server as the Exstream application.
