Managing Business Engine logs

Viewing and downloading logs can be useful when troubleshooting problems in an M3 Business Engine application. The user must be connected to the role M3BE-FndUser or M3BE-FndAdmin to access Administration Tools > Business Engine Logs from the Infor M3 menu in Infor OS Portal. The role M3BE-FndAdmin is required for viewing logs for other users.

  1. Click Administration Tools > Business Engine Logs.
  2. Filter by File name, Last modified, or Size to find the log that you wish to view.
  3. Mark the file from the list and select the download icon at the top left to download the file.

    To view the content of the file, open it in a text editor, for example Notepad.
