Creating M3 issue in CLM Web

  1. Open an issue.
  2. Click Create M3 Issue icon.
  3. In the Issue management header section, specify this information:
    M3 Issue type
    Select from the list of M3 issue types. This is a required field.
    Text
    Provide details about the issue.
    Description
    Provide a brief description about the issue.
    M3 issue date and time
    Specify the date you received the report.
    M3 priority
    Specify the issue management priority.
    M3 issue reporter
    Select the name from the list of users. The default value is the name of the user currently logged in.
  4. In the Issue management line section,specify this information:
    Initial reason
    Select a reason from the list of Initial reason codes. This field is required.
    Text
    Provide details about the issue. The default value of this field depends on the selected reason code. This field is required.
    Description
    Provide a brief description of the issue.
    Item number
    Select the item number.
    Lot number
    Select the serial number of the selected item from the Item number field.
    Transaction quantity in alternate unit of measure
    Specify the quantity for a planned or actual transaction of the issue.
    Order category
    Specify the code for a specific type of order.
    Order number
    Specify the order number. By default, the field remains disabled until you select an order category, making it a required field.
    Order line
    Specify the order line number. By default, the field remains disabled until you select an order category, making it a required field.
    Reported by
    Select the name from the list of users. The default value is the name of the user currently logged in.
  5. Click Create M3 Issue.
