Configuring IDM settings

You must configure the IDM settings to access the M3 CLM documents stored in the IDM using M3 CLM Web or M3 CLM Mobile., or through the M3 CLM Outlook add-in.

Note: M3 CLM only supports the mime types of IDM.

Before you start to configure the IDM settings in the M3 Mobility Core Toolbox, you must generate the Client ID and API Gateway file from the Infor API Gateway application.

See the Infor M3 Customer LifeCycle Management Integrations Library and select Configuration > Post Provisioning steps in M3 CLM > Configuring IDM in M3 Mobility Core Toolbox.

  1. Using the M3 Mobility Core Toolbox, select System configuration > IDM settings.
  2. In the ION API settings, specify this information:
    Outlook Add-in Client id
    Provide the generated ID when M3 CLM Outlook Add-in is added as an authorized application in API Gateway. To get the Outlook Add-in Client ID, copy the content of the Client ID field on the API Gateway application and paste it on this field.
    Outlook Secret
    Provide the generated key when M3 CLM Outlook Add-in is added as an authorized application in API Gateway. To get the Outlook secret key, open the API Gateway file that was generated for Outlook and copy the contents on this field.
    CLM Secret
    Provide the CLM secret key. To get the CLM secret key, open the API Gateway file that was generated for M3 CLM Web and copy the contents to this field.

    IDM server URL
    Specify the REST API endpoint of IDM in API Gateway.

    Follow this format:<protocol>//<URL>/<tenant>/IDM

    CLM Mobile Secret
    Provide the CLM Mobile secret key. To get the CLM Mobile secret key, open the API Gateway file that was generated for M3 CLM Mobile and copy the contents to this field.

  3. Click Save.
