Configuring Experience Designer settings

Ensure to enable Launch Experience designer application from M3 CLM web client feature in M3 Mobility Core Toolbox.

To run the M3 Experience Designer applications, you must configure these settings:

Configuring M3 Experience Designer application

  1. Select System configuration > Experience Designer application relation.
  2. Click New.
  3. Specify this information:
    Name
    Specify a name for the application.
    Identifier
    Provide the Short name of the application.
    Description
    Provide a short description about the application.
    Version
    Indicate the version of the application.

Assigning an application to a role

  1. Select System configuration > Experience Designer application relation.
  2. Select an application from the list.
  3. On the Roles tab, select a role in the Available roles section.
  4. Click the right arrow to assign the application to the selected role.

Adding Experience Designer to a start menu

M3 CLM only displays this menu in the new web client.

  1. Select System configuration > Navigation.
  2. From the Start menu, select the start menu item.
  3. On the Menu items tab, click New.
  4. Specify this information:
    Type
    Select ExperienceDesignerApplication as the menu type from the list.
    Name
    Provide a name for the menu item.
    Description
    Provide a short description about the menu item.
    Icon
    Select an icon from the list.
    Path
    Specify lclm://experience_designer as its path.
  5. Click Save.

    Ensure that the roles are mapped. See Assigning role to a start menu.
