Configuring a number series

1. Select System configuration > Issue maintenance > Issue general settings.
2. Click New.
3. Specify this information:

   From date

   Specify the start date when to use the number series.

   Start number

   Specify the start number of the number series. The default value is 1.

   End number

   Specify the last number of the number series. The default value is blank.

   Prefix/Suffix

   Specify if the number series is appended with a prefix or suffix.

   Column name

   Select from any of these values: AccountNumber, CountryCODE, DistrictCODE, or OrganisationUnit.

   User defined

   Specify use definition using not more than 20 characters except <, >, ?, %, *, ', ", \, and /.

   Description

   Provide a brief description about the number series.

4. Click Save.
