Updating a user account
Ensure that the values for M3 User Name and M3 Sales person identifier are in uppercase letters.
- Select User maintenance > User.
- Optionally, you can search or sort users.
- Search: Specify the search criteria and press Enter.
- Sort: Click the specific column to sort the users in ascending or descending order.
- Select a user.
- Update any of this information:
- First name
- Specify the first name of the user.
- Surname
- Specify the last name of the user.
- Login name
- Specify the login name to be used when logging in to the application using any client and to M3 Mobility Core Toolbox. The login name is usually the same as the Windows network login name as set in Active Directory.
- M3 User name
- Specify the user name to be used for accessing M3 BE data for mapping of M3 data. Here is an example: Customer <OCUSMA>
- M3 Sales person identifier

Specify the identifier.
This field is used for mapping in the M3 BE account, among others.
- Organisation unit
- Select from the list of organisations.
- Language

Select the default language for the selected user from the list.
If additional language is needed, see Adding a language.
- Address
- Specify the address of the user.
- ZipCode
- Specify the ZIP code.
- City
- Specify the city.
- Country
- Select from the list of countries.
- State
- Specify the state.
- Inactive

Mark this option if the account is not active.
The user is not included in any of these lists, once the user is set as inactive:
- Entity share
- Entity Assign, Transfer account, and related data screen in M3 Mobility Core Toolbox
- Responsible field
- Sales person field
- District
- Select from the list of districts.
- Phone
- Specify the phone number.
- Fax
- Specify the fax number.
- Cellphone
- Specify the mobile number of the user.
- Specify the email address of the user.
- Business Area
- Select from the list of business areas.
- Currency
- Select from the list of currencies.
- Timezone
- Select from the list of timezones.
- Click Save.
