Creating a rental quotation from an activity record

You can only create a quotation for a specific type of activity. The activity is set in the M3 Mobility Core Toolbox. Contact your system administrator if you do not know the activity type where rental quotations are made.

Rental Agreement Order Type

Select from the list of order types.

Rental Depot

Select from the list of depots.

Facility

Select from the list of facilities.

Valid From

Select the date when the quotation is created.

Valid Until

Select the date when the validity of the quote expires.

Contacts

Select no more than two contacts. The contacts that are defined here are the values of the Your Ref 1 and Your Ref 2 fields in the quotation. If no contact is associated, the default Your Ref 1 and Your Ref 2 of the account is used on the quotation.

Sales Person

Select a sales person from the list. This is the sales person who is responsible for the quotation.

Forecast

Select whether to set the value of the Total Price of the quotation to the value of the field as set for the opportunity record.

First Follow Up Activity

Select from the list of follow-up activities for this quote.

Date

Select the date that the first follow-up activity is made.

Second Follow Up Activity

Select from the list of follow-up activities for this quote.

Date

Select the date that the second follow-up activity is made.
