Assigning an entity

You lose ownership of the entity when you assign the entity to another M3 CLM user.

When an account is assigned to another user, it is no longer displayed in your list of accounts. If you belong to the same organization unit,the record can still show on the list.

You can still view the activity or opportunity on the corresponding tabs in the Account window, but not in My Activities or My Opportunities filters.

  1. Open the entity.
  2. Click Assign.
  3. Select the user for whom to assign the entity.
  4. Click Assign.
