Adding the document template to the IDM repository

Launch the IDM client.

Select .

Search for the MS Word document template or MS Excel template
that you created.

Specify this information:
- Name
- Specify the name of the template that is
displayed on the list.
- CLM_Type
- Specify Template.
- CLM_ParentEntity
- Select the entity where this template is
displayed. You can select from Account, Activity, Contact,
Opportunity, or Others.

Click Save.

Check whether you have successfully added the document
template.
- Open an entity and create a document.
- Select the template that you added.
- Check out the file.
- Open the file. The text fields are filled with data from
the entity.
