Assigning a role to a user account

  1. Select User maintenance > User.
  2. From the list of users, select the user who you need to assign a role to.
  3. In the Role tab, select the roles that you need to assign in the Used column.

    A user can have multiple roles.

  4. Select Running Role if the selected role should apply when the user opens your application.

    The Running Role setting defines the dialogs and menus that a user sees when opening an application.

  5. Click Save.
