In Mobility for Field Service (MFS) you can now install an item or serial unknown by M3. For example, an item can be unknown when it comes directly from the customer on the site. To avoid having the field engineer needing to call the back office to set this item up before reporting the job, the engineer can indicate that this is an unknown item or serial. The installation transaction is then set to status 09 to allow the back office to set up the basic data in M3. |
