Managing agents

The M3_Agents_and_Tools_for_Infor_GenAI_Assistant.zip file package contains the DeployAI.exe file, which simplifies deploying or upgrading all Infor M3 Core agents and tools for the Infor GenAI Assistant.

Using this method requires an ION API file for authentication. An ION API file contains credentials of a specific user in one tenant and authenticates call to the API Gateway. One ION API file is required per tenant.

Creating an ION API file

  1. Sign in to the portal using an account with the IONAPI‑Administrator role.
  2. Go to OS > API Gateway > Authorized Apps, and press + to add a new app.
  3. Select Backend Service, and specify a Name and Description. Keep the default value for OAuth 2.0 Access Token.
  4. Click Save.
  5. Scroll down and click Download Credentials.
  6. Enable Create Service Account, and search for the user to associate with the credentials.
  7. Click Download to download the ION API file to your device.
    Note: Delete the file after use.

Deploying or upgrading agents and tools

  1. Extract the file package M3_Agents_and_Tools_for_Infor_GenAI_Assistant.zip.
  2. Move the ION API file to the folder containing the DeployAI.exe file and the export folder.
  3. Open a Windows command prompt and access the folder.
  4. Run this command: DeployAI.exe -ionapi <ionapi file name> -all export.
