Sales Manager - Margin dashboard
The Sales Manager - Margin dashboard analyzes the sales margin for products and customers. A breakdown of invoiced amounts helps illustrate margin erosion and how discounts, commissions, and other operating costs eat into the company's profit and margin.

The dashboard contains these reports:
- Pct of Total by Product
- Sales Margin by Period
- Pct of Total by Customer
- Invcd Amt Breakdown of Top Gross Profit 2
- Top Sales Margin
- Invcd Net Amt
- Gross Margin 1 Pct
- COGS Standard
- Gross Profit 1
These KPIs use the Invoice Date as the date basis for analysis and the Sum aggregation. Amounts are expressed in the company currency.
Currency and year information are also displayed on the banner.

Time is a required filter. You can use the required filter Pct of Total – Measure to switch the measure used in Pct of Total by Product and Pct of Total by Customer reports.
Show N Records is a required filter that is applied to these reports: Pct of Total by Product, Pct of Total by Customer, Invcd Amt Breakdown of Top Gross Profit 2, and Top Sales Margin.
Drill across
- From Pct of Total by Product report, you can drill across to the Product Profitability Analysis dashboard.
- From Pct of Total by Customer, you can drill across to the Customer Profitability Analysis dashboard.
