Dimension information

This appendix contains the complete list of available dimensions used in the M3 Analytics dashboards.

Dimensions in M3 Analytics are categorized as being fact-related or conformed.

A fact-related dimension is specific to a certain fact table and it is developed in that context. Whereas conformed dimension has the same set of attributes available across different domains. Conformed dimensions are used in several domains. They are developed in a separate space and imported where needed.

Note: Most of the attributes that are listed in each dimension are part of the custom subject area. M3 Analytics contains more attributes in the default subject area. For a complete list, see the mapping document in KB2015457.
