C-Suite: Income Statement dashboard
The Income Statement dashboard shows financial performance and helps a finance manager understand overall profitability. The income statement report outlines revenues and expenses, including subcomponents of each, for each period of a given fiscal year. The combination of this report and key profit and loss accounts, which are defined as KPIs, allows the tracking of profits at several levels.
This dashboard can answer these business questions:
- What is the company's top-line profitability?
- How profitable is the business, factoring only its core operating activities?
- After all things are considered, for example, taxes and interest expense, is the business still profitable?
- Is the company competitive at each profitability level compared to industry peers?
Reports and KPIs in this dashboard show the values using the End This Period analysis.
Filters selected in this dashboard are passed to the CEO, CFO, Balance Sheet, Key Ratio - Operational, and Key Ratio - Strategic dashboards so you can perform continuous data analysis.
Report and KPIs
The Income Statement report is available in this dashboard.

These KPIs use Accounting Period Date as basis for analysis and Sum aggregation. Values shown in the KPIs are based on the selected period in the Fiscal Period filter. Each KPI displays a trend chart based on the selected value in the Last N Period filter.
All KPIs display an indicator comparing the Fiscal Period value with the Last Fiscal Period value. A green arrow pointing upward indicates an increase in value, a red arrow pointing downward indicates a decrease in value, and a yellow square indicates no change in value.
The period selected in the Fiscal Period filter and Currency information are displayed on the banner.
