Dashboards

Do not modify any dashboards in an Infor-provided collection. To make modifications to a dashboard, copy the dashboard and save it to a custom created folder. Save the custom created folder into a custom created collection.

Note: When you copy a dashboard, the reports and filters used by the dashboard are not copied. If you must make changes to the underlying reports or filters, then copy the reports and filters separately. Configure the new dashboard to use the copied reports and filters.

This provides flexibility to copy what is required. For example, to add your own filter to a report on your dashboard, copy the dashboard into your own collection and add the new filter. Your dashboard can continue to use the Infor-provided report and the data-driven filter is applied to that report. Any future updates are applied to the Infor-delivered report.
