Work Center

Work Center is an area that consists of one or more machines, people, subcontracted operations, or product lines and that has a certain available capacity. A work center represents an organizational unit that defines where an operation must be performed.

The Work Center dimension retrieves all work center information defined in Work Center.Open (PDS010) stored in the M3 BE table MPDWCT. Corresponding names of planning groups and department are retrieved from CSYTAB.

This dimension supports the use of Extensibility Dimension in the M3 Analytics model extension space. See Model Extension details in Infor M3 Analytics for M3 CloudSuites Administration Guide for more information.

The attributes listed in the table are part of the custom subject area. M3 Analytics contains more attributes in the default subject area. For a complete list, see the mapping document in KB 2015457.
