Warranty Department Performance dashboard

The Warranty Department Performance dashboard provides insights into the process of the Warranty Department. Using this dashboard, you can track the claim amount variance and the turnaround time for closed claims. You can use the KPIs and metrics in this dashboard to gain deeper understanding of and make improvements in the warranty claim process.

This dashboard can answer these business questions:
  • What is the total number of unsettled, overdue, and closed claims?
  • Which customers and claim payers have the most turnaround days for claims?
  • Which equipment has the most turnaround days for claims?
  • What is the breakdown of the whole Claim Amt and Claim Settlement Variance in terms of Claim Spec Type?
  • How is the Warranty Department performing in terms of claims versus settlement variance through time?

Amounts in the Claim Amt by Spec Type, Claim vs Settlement Var by Claim Spec Type, and Claim vs Settlement Var by Period reports are expressed in the company currency.

The dashboard also contains these KPIs:
  • No. of Overdue Claims
  • No. of Claims
  • No. of Closed Claims
  • No. of Unsettled Claims
  • Avg Turnaround Days
  • Claim vs Settlement Var Amt
  • Claim vs Settlement Amt Pct

Currency information is also displayed on the dashboard.

These KPIs use the Claim Date as date basis for analysis. No. of Overdue Claims, No. of Claims, No. of Closed Claims, and No. of Unsettled Claims use the Count Distinct aggregation. Avg Turnaround Days uses Average aggregation. Claim vs Settlement Var Amt and Claim vs Settlement Amt Pct use the Sum aggregation.
