Business Chain
Business Chain is a specific ID for a business partner representing a group of customer. In many situations, the business chain and customers included in it are processed the same way. The chain is made up of customers connected to one another on different levels such as the parent company and its subsidiaries.
The Business Chain dimension contains the customer business chains defined for a customer order. The names of each chain level are retrieved from OCUSMA. A drill map from Business Chain Level 1 to 4 down to the customer is made available for use in analysis of customer orders and invoiced orders.
The attributes listed in the table are part of the custom subject area. M3 Analytics contains more attributes in the default subject area. For a complete list, see the mapping document in KB 2015457.
