Overall Equipment Effectiveness dashboard

The Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) dashboard provides you with an overview of the OEE metric with its three components: Availability, Performance, and Quality. The dashboard can help you understand production performance and equipment utilization and the usage of target values for OEE, Availability, Performance, and Quality enable insight on how you are performing against targets. Analyzing equipment effectiveness over time and understanding what causes capacity losses help you determine areas for continuous improvement.

This dashboard can answer these business questions:

  • Was there too much run time disturbance?
  • Is there not enough production when running?
  • Are there too many rejects?

The dashboard contains these reports:
  • OEE
  • Availability

  • Quality
  • Overall Equipment Effectiveness by Period
  • Top Overall Equipment Effectiveness by Category
  • Bottom Overall Equipment Effectiveness by Category
  • Availability by Period
  • Performance by Period
  • Quality by Period
The dashboard also has these KPIs:
  • OEE

  • Target - OEE
  • Target - Availability
  • Target - Performance
  • Target - Quality

The KPIs OEE, Availability, Performance, and Quality use the Actual Finish Date as date basis for analysis and use the Sum aggregation.

Filters

These standard filters are available:
  • Facility
  • Warehouse (Config. 1)
  • Work Center
  • Time (Config. 2)
  • Capacity Type (Config. 1)
  • Ranking (Config. 2)
  • Show N Records

Ranking, Time, and Capacity Type are mandatory filters.

The Ranking filter enables Top/Bottom analysis of the non-period reports together with Show N Records to control the number of elements shown in the report.

Drill across

Drilling from a report to another dashboard is enabled in this dashboard:
  • From Overall Equipment Effectiveness by Period report, you can drill across to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness Details.
  • From Availability by Period report, you can drill across to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness - Availability.
  • From Performance by Period report, you can drill across to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness - Performance.
  • From the Quality by Period report, you can drill across to the Overall Equipment Effectiveness - Quality.
