Technician Performance
The purpose of the Technician Performance model is to analyze technician performance to maximize billable time. Billable time can be analyzed by travel and labor hours.
The model provides insight into these topics:
- Billable time and Billable % trends
- Top/Bottom performing technician
- First Time Fix Rate
The facts in this model can be analyzed by these dates: actual finish date and transaction date.
Source information
The Technician Performance model consists of two main fact tables: one holds data of reported operations and reported hours and the other employee work hours. Employee work hours is the number of hours that an employee is expected to work as calculated by M3 and is used to calculate unreported hours.
Reported operations and hours are based on the M3 BE table MMOPTR, and the data in the table corresponds to M3 programs MOS100 related option 16 or MOS070.
Employee work hours are sourced from M3 BE table MCPAPD, which is populated by M3 program CPS170 and CPS160. Work hours are analyzed by calendar date. Measures and calculations that are based on this table can only be analyzed by using the Technician and Time dimensions.
The First Time Fix Operation measure is based on the service error report, M3 BE table MMOSER.
These measures should not be used with the Costing Type dimension: No of Rptd Operations, First Time Fix Operations, and First Time Fix Rate. These are only counted for each operation of a work order.
