Income Statement dashboard

The Income Statement dashboard shows financial performance and helps a finance manager understand overall profitability. The income statement report outlines revenues and expenses, including subcomponents of each, for each period of a given fiscal year. The combination of this report and key profit and loss accounts, which are defined as KPIs, allows the tracking of profits at several levels.

This dashboard can answer business questions such as:

  • What is the company's top-line profitability?
  • How profitable is the business, factoring only its core operating activities?
  • After all things are considered, for example, taxes and interest expense, is the business still profitable?
  • Is the company competitive at each profitability level compared to industry peers?

The dashboard consists of KPIs for Gross Revenue, Cost of Sales, Gross Profit, Operating Income, Operating Costs, and Net Profit. These KPIs show the last non-empty values for a fiscal period. In addition, the dashboard also includes these reports:

KPI Charts:

  • Gross Revenue Trend
  • Cost of Sales Trend
  • Gross Profit Trend
  • Operating Income Trend
  • Operating Costs Trend
  • Net Profit Trend

You can filter the data by using the standard filters Division, Fiscal Year, and FKR Column.
