The data needed to analyze equipment profitability is captured mainly from Analytical Accounting Aggregated Balance file, CAAAGG. To enable analysis from different perspectives, the Analytical Accounting Balance Key table (CAAKEY) is used. Each balance key provides a specific perspective of the data.

• Accounting Model Lines centric analysis

  Balance Key 1 is essential and provides profitability analysis per Accounting Model Lines. Other dimensions available are Period and Time Intelligence.

• Equipment centric analysis

  Balance Key 2 is essential and provides profitability analysis per Item, Product Group and Accounting Model Lines . This key can be used together with the Equipment dimension that provides a drill-down to serial number. Other dimensions available are Period and Time Intelligence.

• Customer centric analysis

  Balance Key 3 is essential and provides profitability analysis per Customer Group, Customer, Country and Accounting Model Lines. This key can be used together with the Customer dimension. Other dimensions available are Period and Time Intelligence.

• Maintenance Agreement centric analysis

  Balance Key 4 is essential and provides profitability analysis per Maintenance Agreement and Accounting Model Lines. This key can be used together with the Maintenance Agreement dimension. Other dimensions available are Period and Time Intelligence.

• Origin ID, Item, and Serial number centric analysis

  Balance Key 5 is essential and provides profitability analysis per Origin ID, Item, Serial number and Accounting Model Lines. This key can be used together with Equipment and Origin ID dimensions. Other dimensions available are Period and Time Intelligence.
