New equipment reference field in (MMS240/H)
You can now use the 'extended equipment number' (EEQN) field to import a very long legacy equipment number into M3.
This new EEQN field is 40 positions long, and it must be unique for each combination of item, serial, and equipment in (MMS240). Due to its length, you must use a functional search in order to search for it in a list of programs.
