Exception invoices

Exception invoices are invoices that the Lawson Invoice Matching application was unable to match. These are some reasons for discrepancies:

• An item is listed on the receipt, but is not listed on the invoice.

• An item is listed on the invoice, but is not listed on the receipt.

• An item is listed on both the invoice and the receipt, but the quantities are different.

• An item on the invoice is more expensive than the item on the receipt (overbill).

• An item on the invoice is less expensive than the item on the receipt (underbill).
