Using Personnel Actions task

The Personnel Actions task enables managers to specify personnel actions for direct reports. This functionality is also available through the Personnel Actions link in the Direct Reports task.

Specify personnel actions

  1. Click the Personnel Actions task. The form displays the action descriptions you set to Direct Supervisor within the Web Supervisor Available field on Action (PA50.1).
  2. Select a manager's direct report.
  3. Specify an effective date. Select the action you want to process.
  4. Specify the new employee values and submit the action for processing.
    Note: The system assumes the default value of Yes for the Update Benefits and Update Required fields. These fields are located on Individual Action (PA52.1).
