Feature Enhance Employee Manager Self-Service application configuration settings
Description

A new HS23.1/HS23.2 program was created to enable EMSS configuration settings to be maintained in the Infor Lawson database instead of the emss_config.xml file. Since settings are stored in the database, there is no need to reapply them after an EMSS patch or release update is installed. Knowledge of XML is no longer required to maintain application settings.

HS23.1 is used to create and maintain the settings, and enables the company and employee group to create settings. EMSS uses HS23.2 to look up the settings for a specific user; it uses the first alphanumeric employee group record where the employee belongs. Settings in HS23.1 override any settings in the emss_config.xml file.
