Verifying prerequisite data to add education degrees

  1. Access HR Codes (HR04.1) and click the HR Codes link.
  2. Inquire about Type = ED (Education Degree) to access Education (HR81.1).
  3. Add the education degree codes. When defining the codes, consider these options in the Web Available field:

    • No: The degree is not displayed in self-service, even if that degree is assigned to the employees in PA20.1.

    • Display Only: The degree is displayed in self-service as a current one for the employees if they possess that degree in PA20.1, but these employees cannot add the degree for themselves in self-service.

    • Update: The degree is displayed in self-service as a current one for the employees if they possess that degree in PA20.1, and these employees can add the degree for themselves in self-service.
