Creating a Birst Application in Infor Ming.le

  1. Launch a browser and login to Infor Ming.le with an Administrator account.
  2. Select User Menu > Admin Settings.
  3. Click + to add the application.
  4. Specify this information:
    Application type
    Specify Infor Application.
    Application Name
    Select Birst.
    Display Name
    Specify a display name for the application.
    Application Icon
    Select an icon to display for the application.
    Logical ID
    Specify the Logical ID.
    Use HTTPS
    Select this field.
    Hostname
    Specify the URL of the Birst server that you configured in your SAML configuration, for example, sde.birst.com. To find the correct server, see the URLs used in your Birst SAML configuration ( Service Provider Single Logout URL), or your Infor Ming.le service provider configuration (SSO / SLO endpoints).
  5. Leave the Port, Context, and Default Tenant fields blank.
  6. Save the configuration.
  7. Select the Custom Parameters tab. Specify this information:
    Identity Provider ID
    Specify the Identity Provider ID (idpid). To obtain this value, select the GUID portion of the Service Provider obtained from Birst for the Relying Party Identifier in Infor OS Manager. For example, https://www.birst.com/a4314e70-6f08-4162-b1af-392dd484d283
    Birst Space ID
    Specify the Birst Space ID that is available on the Modify Properties page of the Birst Admin module for the space.
  8. Save the information.
  9. Access the new application from the Infor Ming.le App menu.
    By loading the Birst application, you can access the Birst dashboards in Infor Ming.le and the rest of the Birst application such as Visualizer.
    Note: The access a user is given to the Birst application in Infor Ming.le is governed by the rights this user has been granted within the Birst application.
