Getting information needed for the updates

The Command operations that are used to update spaces requires a space ID. The space ID is a unique ID that is used to refer to the space. Space name must be enclosed in double quotations if your space name has a space in it. For example, “Space Name”.

To find the space ID:

  1. Sign in to Infor Birst.
  2. Select space and select Admin > Space Management.
  3. Select Space Properties. You can find and document the ID located in the first text box.
    Note: In Classic Home, you can find the Space ID in the space Admin > Manage Space tab > Modify Properties.
