Update steps

Perform these steps to update to 10.2.11.

  1. Make a backup of all ATC 10.2.10 and STC 10.2.11 spaces and name them using this format: ZZZBackup -SpaceName - Version - CurrentDate.
    For customers with customizations, you must first move all your changes to STC space before proceeding to Step 2.
    When moving customization from ATC 10.2.10 and STC 10.2.11 space, these are some questions that can help you decide on your best approach:
    • Do you have many customized folders/dashboards/reports?
    • Do you have changes on Model spaces/Model Security definitions?

      Yes - you must manually apply them on the STC space.

    • Do you have many SavedExpressions?
      • Yes – perform these instruction for the update process.

      • No - if there are only a few instances, you can rework it on STC space.
    • Do you have many Global-Filters?
      • Yes – perform these instruction for the update process.

      • No - if there are only a few instances, you can rework it on STC space.
    • Do you have many Conditions?
      • Yes – perform these instruction for the update process.

      • No - if there are only a few instances, you can rework it on STC space.
    • Do you have many Drill Maps?
      • Yes – perform these instruction for the update process.

      • No - if there are only a few instances, you can rework it on STC space.
  2. Extract and Process the STC spaces.
  3. Go to STC-ConsumerSpace and check some reports to validate.
  4. After validation, you must swapspace the "STC" 10.2.11 and "ATC" 10.2.10 spaces. Follow the “Commands for the update” instructions.
    Note: The Payables model was updated as part of the 10.2.9 release. If there are Payables customizations that are not working as part of model update, these customizations must be recreated manually in STC consumer space.
