Configuring folder security

Access to modules, dashboards, and reports is based on the assignment of standard security roles to users in consumer space. By default, folder/collection security access to specific groups is set and delivered.

This table describes the collections accessible with the pre-delivered standard security roles.

These steps are used to configure folder security for collection/folders.

  1. Sign in to Birst.
  2. Select the consumer space and select Admin.
  3. Select Space Management.
  4. Select Report Catalog and select any folder.
  5. Click the Change Permission button.
    The Share access window displays.
  6. Specify the required access for the space groups to apply the same permissions to the members of the group.
  7. Click Done.
