Configuring row level security in model space

  1. Sign in to Birst.
  2. Select the model space and select Admin > Space Management.
  3. Select Security Filters.
  4. Create a new security filter.
    1. Click the plus button.
    2. Select the attributes and measures where security needs to be applied.
    3. Specify this information:
      Variable Name
      Specify the security variable.
      Applied Sources
      Specify the applied sources. Ensure that you have selected all the sources where you want security to be applied.
      Space Group Exemptions
      Specify the security exemption groups, as necessary.
    4. Click Save.

      This table lists available security exemption groups.

  5. In Modeler, select the Relate button to process the model space.
  6. Click Publish.
  7. Select the processing group and click Publish.
