Strategic Ledger Analysis Setup (SLDM.1)

Use Strategic Ledger Analysis Setup (SLDM.1) to define Strategic Ledger parameters for information you want to transfer to the OLAP database for reporting. You transfer information according to the ledger you defined in SL50.1 (Strategic Ledger).

The dimension name is used to identify strategic ledger information in the OLAP column and row labels. Use the member prefix if Dimensions are not unique. Before you can define strategic ledger dimension information, you must use IA10.1 (OLAP Database Manager) to define the Application Name, Database Name, select SL (Strategic Ledger) in the Application Type field, and use the Server Name field to identify the IP address for the server you currently store Strategic Ledger information on.

This program contains the following form tabs and buttons to define your strategic ledger dimension parameters.

Click the New Application button to open SL87.2 (Define Strategic Ledger Data Mart). Use this subform to select the strategic ledger you defined in SL50.1 you want to define dimension information for. The user analyses you can include in the dimension display in the Segments form tab.

Use the Segments tab to assign a dimension name to the user analyses. The user analyses defined for the ledger in SL50.1 display. In this form tab, you can choose the More button to open SL87.3 (Dimension Options). Use this subform to define additional segment information.

Use the Fiscal Years tab to select the years you want to include in the dimension.

Use the Scenarios tab to select actual amounts or budgets to include in the dimension.

Use the Types tab to define row and column names for amounts and units.
