Employee Deduction Master Load (PR514)

Run Employee Deduction Master Load (PR514) to import non-benefit, non-tax employee deduction data from a non-Lawson system into PR14.1 (Employee Deduction) and PR26.1 (Employee Garnishment) in the Lawson Payroll system.

Processing effect

This program takes fields from a comma-separated value (CSV) file and updates the associated deduction files as if the deductions were added on PR14.1 or PR26.1. The program performs all the edits of PR14.1 and PR26.1.

The program also updates declining balances, limit balances, ascending balances, and additional tax amounts. If the record has errors, an error message prints on the report.

Use the Add function only for initial deduction creation. Use the Change function to update existing deduction data.
