Buyer Message Entry (PO50.1)

Use Buyer Message Entry (PO50.1) to enter and maintain messages for buyers. You can enter an ad hoc message regarding a purchase order, a purchase order detail line, a receipt of goods, a vendor, and/or an invoice.

You can also enter a general message to the buyer that does not pertain to a specific purchase order, receiver, or invoice. Because they are not application-generated, buyer messages entered on this form are referred to as manual buyer messages. The Purchase Order application uses only application-generated messages to notify the buyer.
