Budget Purge (PA371)
Run Budget Purge (PA371) to remove past, current, or future budget information.
Caution:
This program permanently deletes data. Before you run this
program, back up your data according to your organization's procedures. Before
you submit the report, carefully review the parameters.
Processing Effect
Budget records are purged according to their effective dates; If an effective date does not fall within the dates you enter, those records are not purged.
Only one type of budget record (position, process level/job; or process level/department/job) purges at a time. If you want to purge more than one type of record, purge the records separately.
Current records cannot be purged if position rules indicate that assigned resources cannot exceed the budget and if assigned resources exist for that record.
More Information
You can create a comma-separated value (CSV) file that contains the purged information. This information can be reloaded with PA570 (Budget Conversion).
