Base Currency (PA16.2)
Use Base Currency (PA16.2) to:
- view the value in the company's base currency,
- change the value in the base currency using any amount you want,
- recalculate the value in the base currency using a different number for the exchange rate, and
- access the Currency Calculation window in order to perform "what if" scenarios using different exchange rates.
Processing Effect
The value in the company's base currency is calculated using the exchange rate in Exchange Rates (CU10.1). The Personnel Administration system uses the exchange rate in effect on the system date. You can also type an exchange rate of your choice.
