Configure client application settings

  1. Launch the application by clicking the application icon on your mobile device.
  2. On the Create a new profile screen in Mobile Employee, specify this information for the Lawson server to which the Mobile Employee app is connected:
    Profile Name

    Specify any name to identify the profile.

    Server Name

    Specify thame of the Lawson server where RQC is installed. For example: hostname.domain.com.

    Port Number

    Specify the port where the web server process is running. If the default web server port is used, specify 80.

  3. Click Save. Your configuration settings are retained for the next time you access the application. Your configuration settings can be updated at any time.
  4. (Optional) After logging in to the app, access the Settings page from the main menu. If you want employee photos to be displayed, select ON for the Display Employee Photos setting. By default, employee photos are not displayed.
    Note: The employee photos that show in the Mobile Employee app are the same as those that show in the Employee and Manager Self-Service product. Photo files are retrieved from the WEBDIR/lawson/xhrnet/images/employees directory. See the Infor Employee and Manager Self-Service Administration Guide.
