Ledger History Delete (ML300)
Run Ledger History Delete (ML300) to delete historical journal entry transactions, balances, and consolidation records for a fiscal year. Multi-Book Ledger history must be at least two years old before this program deletes it. You can delete all record types at once or each type separately.
This program creates a report showing the total number of records deleted.
Deleted records are removed from the Multi-Book Ledger database. You can archive them in a set of comma-separated value (CSV) files.
Caution:
This program permanently deletes data. Before you run this
program, back up your data according to your organization's procedures. Before
you submit the report, carefully review the parameters.
Caution:
If you want to preserve your archive files, you should rename
them or copy them to a different directory. Otherwise they will be overwritten
the next time you run this program for the same types of records.
