Assigning the Custom MobileRequisitionReqField Attribute to mobile users

After adding the custom MobileRequisitionReqField attribute to the Lawson RM system, you must assign a value to that attribute for users who require access to the Mobile Requisitions application. You must perform these steps for each user:

  1. Launch the Lawson Security Administrator tool and log in as an administrator to the Lawson server where RQC is installed.
  2. Select User Management from the category menu.
  3. Select User Maintenance.
  4. Search for the user.
  5. Right-click the user in the list and select Edit RM Information.
  6. Specify a custom text depending on these criteria:
    • Add DeliveryDate if user wants the Delivery Date field to be required when creating a requisition.

    • Add DeliverTo if the user wants the Deliver To field be required when creating requisitions.

If more than one criterion is used, there must be commas with no space between attributes (for example, DeliveryDate,DeliverTo). Leave blank if these fields are not required.

  7. From the Change RM Object window, select Edit > Change to save the changes to the user.

Perform these steps to pick up the changes:

  8. Select Server Management from the category menu in Security Administrator.
  9. Click Clear Cache.
  10. Clear IOS cache on the Lawson server by running this URL:
    http://servername:port/servlet/IOSCacheRefresh
  11. To assign a value to the MobileUser attribute for a large number of users, see the "Mass Assigning Attributes to Users" section in the Lawson Administration: Resources and Security guide.
