Setting up the Vertex Quantum debug option

Vertex Quantum's debug option can be set up by your system administrator through a flag in the Vertex Quantum vertex.cfg configuration file. The vertex.cfg configuration file contains three essential parameters that are used with Vertex Quantum's debug option: DBPATH, DEBUG, and DEBUGFILE. A brief description of each parameter is provided in this table.

Parameter	Description
DBPATH	Specifies the directory where the Vertex Quantum database files are located.
DEBUG	Specifies whether the debug option is turned on. If the debug function is turned on, the debugging information is written to the file specified in the DEBUGFILE parameter.
DEBUGFILE	Specifies the name of the file that debugging information is written to. The system automatically attaches the process ID (pid) of the lapm process to the end of the debug filename. This prevents more than one user from writing debug information to the same debug file.
